Don’t let the name mini fool you! The Huum Hive Mini is a mighty unit with the same beautiful lines of the Huum range. Made from high quality stainless steel, with award winning design and offered with a 2 year warranty.

These heaters are free standing and hold a whopping 170kg of rounded sauna stones. We can also provide the optional safety rail (pictured) and floor insert plate for use in a false floor. For more information on this heater range, see the manufacturers website here.

  • The Hive Mini 11 should be connected to 3 phase supply only.

Please note measurements are in m3 (meters cubed m3 not meters squared m2) A common mistake is to under power a sauna room, which can be difficult to correct after installation. Heaters work in 3 dimensions not 2! Also, remember that adding lots of glass or having no insulation will require a bigger heater than indicated above. Room/heater calculator can be found here.

We offer our heaters with stones specifically suited to the heater. The stones are certified safe to use in sauna, free from impurities. It is not recommended to harvest stones from the wild, as these may contain minerals such as Sulphur, asbestos and silica which could be released when warmed. Softer river stones will be prone to exploding or cracking when warmed.

Heaters must be fitted by a NZ certified electrician.
