Inspired by the environmentally sustainable ski resort in eastern Finland, fresh air, the great outdoors and a memorable sauna session by a lake; we are proud to offer The Tahko – mobile sauna cabin.
- External cabin dimensions 3010mm x 1800mm x 2100mm (at highest point)
- Galvanized steel trailer with braked dual wheels, made locally in Christchurch.
- 40MM and 30mm 3mm box steel framing on the cabin.
- Lined inside and out with breathable rigid air barrier. Healthy flashings, glue, sealant, paints and oils.
- Paneled and clad with sustainable NZ thermally modified timber and architectural steel cladding.
- Insulated with wool blend insulation.
- Powered by the award winning, Huum Hive heat 13, wood burning sauna heater. This heater meets the strictest German environmental standard BimSchV II. Emissions are tested to strict standards, burning less wood and suitable for smaller spaces.
- Double tiered benches, seating 10 people approximately.
- Double glazed window.

We’ve chosen to make this sauna slightly narrower than others on the market. This allows for easier towing, better visibility when towing, a lower step into the sauna and helps keep the overall weight down.
